Secondary sedimentation tank dredging project (Suzhou Baidang Wastewater Treatment Plant)

Due to long-term shutdown, a large amount of sludge has settled at the bottom of the secondary sedimentation tank of the Baidang Sewage Treatment Plant in Suzhou High tech Zone, resulting in poor fluidity and blockage of the scraper suction pipeline and sludge discharge pipeline. Due to production needs, the secondary sedimentation tank cannot be emptied for maintenance, and the cleaning of the sludge at the bottom of the tank has become a major challenge for the Baidang sewage treatment plant. Jiangsu Borko Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. has advanced underwater unmanned online dredging equipment and rich engineering experience, which can meet the dredging needs of non-stop production, no personnel, and no emptying. The sonar device installed on the intelligent underwater cleaning vehicle is used to scan the sediment at the bottom of the pool, and the operator remotely controls the walking of the cleaning vehicle on the ground. The winch and sand pump of the cleaning truck suck out the sludge at the bottom of the pool and load it into a tanker truck for external treatment. This project cleared a total of 1348m3 of sediment from two secondary sedimentation tanks.
